What is hexbear and what is a ledditor
who knows, but in the meantime look at this dope-ass bear
Beautiful
Hexbear - the instance you are commenting on.
Ledditor - context tells me "lib redditor", but I could be wrong
It's an old name for redditors that was used a lot back when they would use "le" instead of "the" a alot. I believe the term originated on the chans.
Good to know! (I have never used Reddit and never will)
Ah, I thought I had heard it before Lemmy!
Yep, it's been widely used over there at least since 2013, probably earlier (searchable archives only go back so far).
I assume it meant a lemmy-redditor - so someone from reddit who joined a lemmy instance?
Ooh, that makes more sense!
no, definitely means lib redditor. both terms are being used as pejoratives.
I actually meant Lemmy redditor but lib redditor works too
Ledditor is because of all the “le” they used to insert into every title and rage comic meme.
This instance is hexbear and I was using ledditor to mean Lemmy Redditor
