New chancellor of Germany needed two rounds of voting to be officially elected. Which at least never happened since I live.
This is because the coalition parties usually agree on the candidate they are going to elect beforehand but the vote itself is anonymous. Of course they did make a decision before they voted but it seems that the option to vote anonymous made it too irresistable to show what they really think of him. He's officially the most unwanted chancellor ever (rightfully so imho, I hate that guy sadly not only because his political stance, but as a human being)
