Most people don’t understand the difference between Visigoth and gothic. It leads to an interesting “goth” scene.

Yeah, there would be no disconnect here, goth subculture is pretty broad and in any case it's super inclusive and just fun as shit. They would get a kick out of this.

Can verify — I'm quite fond of wearing chainmail belted with an under bust corset. I always feel like I'm a celebrity or something when I wear it
