If a team wants to exclude trans women who consistently outperform their competition, fine, as long as they also exclude cis women who are equally high performers. I don't think that would be smart, but I also don't think it's like morally objectionable. If they want to exclude all trans women regardless of performance and not exclude high performing cis women, then it's not about fairness, it's about discrimination.

I'm no sports expert though, and I would guess the majority of trans women don't play any sports, so I feel like this issue really doesn't need to be seen as so important. I'd say leave it to the actual players to figure out
