My cat has a more precise internal clock than humans could ever engineer.
Hint: it wakes up so punctually because it can hear the mice scratching in the walls, who are reacting to your boiler starting to heat the pipes at 7am sharp.
Yes, he knows when I'm in that deep sleep like 30-60m before my alarm goes off, so that when I give him the boot I don't have enough time to go back to bed for any meaningful sleep.
