On this occasion, Kamala Harris used her own Web Domain compared to Barack Obama who for now uses the nickname under the .bsky.social umbrella

Perhaps because Team Obama isn't as active, as he's now a former president.

Harris is a candidate who could run for governor of California or for president again, so going to Bluesky is a way to stand out.

Also, Team Harris likely received training on how DNS works in Bluesky from the Democratic Party.
