Vertical farming, "hot house" farming, rooftop community farms, and other methods can absolutely harden Canada's food security.

We do have a problem with too much of our farmland being used to grow feed for farmed animals, though. We really shouldn't be competing with farm animals... it would be better for everyone if we converted factory farms, and the crop fields that feed those animals, into something that benefits humans.
