First sack the national park/lands employees so there’s no one with the day job time to dedicate to defending these trees, then cut them all down.

I feel sick.

once the protections are gone, they will sell mineral rights and make sweetheart deals with extraction industry mega corps to begin strip mining the land, poisoning water sources with tailings, and/or privatizing what remains of the real estate to build luxury condos.

anything and anyone not useful for short term profit making of the ultra rich will be gradually immolated.

we're living in an economic system being rapidly converted into one that serves exclusively the top 1%

And we lose American beauty. Animals and plants lose their homes. Indigenous people lose even more sacred land.

It will take hundreds or thousands of years to recover.
