Shouldn't be 3-phase unless that's common wherever you are. Pretty much every washing machine I've seen just goes on a normal SP20A circuit.
There isnt 3-phase mains going into the device, but i assume is uses a 3-phase brushless motor with a driver circuit for speed control
Yeah could be, that would make sense. I confess, I haven't opened many of them up.
With the frequency jumps I'd say you're right
I wiuldnt say common, but I've seen a couple 3 phase washing machines in my area. Midwest US
If it says inverter on it, it's using a 3 phase brushless motor. It might be 3ph even if it doesn't say it.
