"Transportation using lightweight vehicles such as bicycles or scooters, especially electric ones that may be borrowed as part of a self-service rental program in which people rent vehicles for short-term use within a town or city.

It's a little sad that we need to actually say this, but:

Don't be an asshole or you will be permanently banned.

Respectful debate is totally OK, criticizing a product is fine, but being verbally abusive will not be tolerated.

Focus on discussing the idea, not attacking the person.

I personally just try to avoid activities that that would threaten my head to the point I need to wear a helmet...

We’re on the micromobility community. Not a whole lot of micromobility you can safely engage in without some head protection

I walk, take transit. Honestly bikes scare the shit out of me.

Fair enough, they can be dangerous especially in some places.

Shit happens, and if you are riding anything with wheels, you should definitely be wearing a helmet. I wasn't doing anything extreme when I crashed, the bike (an ENGWE EP2 Pro) failed at about 20mph, sending me over the handle bars and to the hospital. Not much I could've done about it, the fender was faulty and poorly designed but no recall was issued.
