People shouldn't be surprised their 13 year old CPU doesn't support a game that lists newer CPUs as a minimum requirement - but at least they're trying to fix it:

“Regarding the AVX2 issue, we are currently working on a fix for this. Thank you for being patient, and I apologize for the struggles you’ve had in the meantime.”
