In Teslas Jahresbericht 2024 ist der Financial Times (FT) eine Lücke von 1,4 Milliarden US-Dollar im dritten und vierten Quartal aufgefallen. Wie die Zeitung schreibt, gab Tesla in diesem Zeitraum 6,3 Milliarden US-Dollar für "Käufe von Sachanlagen ohne Finanzierungsleasing" aus, in der Bilanz fand die FT allerdings nur einen Gegenwert von 4,9 Milliarden US-Dollar.
