AC Shadows Initial Reactions after 4 hours of play.
Big world, but doesn't feel too big.
Characters are interesting enough.
Cool little side quests and things.
Story is pretty cliche, but we'll see what happens.
Parkour is smooth and feels a bit more real than the previous ones.
Combat is more challenging than previously. You can see they tried emulating Ghost of Tsushima, but fell short. Not a criticism as GoT had some of the best combat I've every played.
So far enjoying it.
But what about all the wOkE?
If a game upsets weebs and neckbeards, you know it's doing something right.
There are legit criticisms of Ubisoft but the wokeness is the best they can come up with
Because it's the easy one. No one has to define what woke is, they just have to accuse someone of it.
Other criticisms require a bit of thinking.
The closest they have is complaining about predatory game design. I'm sure a lot of the neckbeards would be alright with the sexual harassment that happens at Ubi
