Context here for those that don't have Gigaclear, the internet is great btw, but the IP6 is a shit show.
The provided routers enable IP6 by default, and you have to switch it off because it crashes their routers, requiring an engineer to come out because they won't let customers talk to network operations.
I had a fault on my fibre when it was first installed and twice they requested that I full reset my router which completely borked it. Luckily they found the bad splice and replaced it but IP6 problems made it harder than it should have been.
Well done Gigaclear for getting this fixed, I think this was the last rough patch I had with them much better than OpenReach.
the state of ipv6 deployment in the UK is still such a joke.
