Showing related threads that use the same link or have a similar title or words in the body of the post would prevent a lot of duplicate threads while also making it more convenient for users searching for a solutiom to a problem that is already available in a previous lemmy thread.

The lemmy web ui already does this when typing a title (although due to a bug it doesnt do so for the link or when the suggested title from the link is used)

Yes that’d be great. Ideally the comments could be shown from all of the posts as well. It could show what thread its from on the comment similar to how it shows you the domain name of a user if they’re on a server other than the one you’re on
