Mirror

Operators of the "Flying Skull" Battalion of the USF thwarted an enemy assault, destroying two T-72s in the Pokrovskoye direction.

During aerial reconnaissance in the unit's area of responsibility, two tanks were detected trying to move towards the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

To destroy them, the Flying Skull immediately launched FPV drones. After a precise hit, the ammunition in one of the T-72s detonated. Our pilots stopped the other vehicle with precise hits in the engine and transmission compartment. A fire broke out and the tank burned out completely.

The T-72 is the most massive tank in the Russian army. One of its most serious vulnerabilities is related to the dense arrangement of ammunition in the under-turret space. Therefore, often during armor penetration, precise drop from a UAV or hit in the open hatch of an FPV drone, the ammunition detonates and the tank is destroyed along with the crew.
