Placement is a great opportunity to have a test drive at teaching, and it is a really good starting degree. I work with a fantastic youth worker who wishes he did teaching as it would open more doors for him with his youth work so as a starting point it's a good degree to have. I'm a nurse, and I love my job but there is no way I'd choose it again.

What would you do if you weren't a nurse?

I don't know! I'm doing some non clinical/quality work at the moment, and I'm enjoying that more than I thought I would. But I wanted to be a chef or a vet when I was young, those hold no appeal now thanks to children and pets!
