Was talking with my brother the other night. I was saying. I wonder if folks in nazi germany stood around and where like: This guy is pretty wierd and these things he is doing is wack. Nah back then a lot of people genuinely supported monarchy. Remember at the time Germany had only recently become democratic (like ten years before) and it wasn't working out well. So a bunch of people liked the idea of a "strong man" taking the reigns again
Although the thing is there have always been the monarchy nutters but a lot of nutter things have become actual views enough folks have to swing elections so I would not be surprised if some big monarchy swing was underway. Its like the next step of acceptance with maga.
