Democrats half-assing solutions to systemic problems only for them to fail in Congress or get struck down by the Supreme Court because they don't want to upset their capitalist overlords really epitomizes the pathetic excuse for "leftism" we have in the government.

In my state (Texas), communists can’t even be on the ballot if they wanted to.

Edit: Just for clarity, I’m being literal. It’s still illegal: Texas Government Code §557.022
