There was something that just felt wrong about the sync app thread in one of the lemmy.world communities. Just post after post of "yay, it's like having reddit back again." Reddit can fuck off. I like the novelty and slight roughness around the edges.
I don't want Reddit's ads shoved down my throat and I don't want a third party app's neither. Not having an option to unlock ads permanently is a deal breaker for me. The developer just comes across as greedy tbh
You can permanently disable ads now.
Thank god for that!
