It's kind of funny that the olive branch bipartisan thing Dems do with policy is making it painful when GOP inevitably goes to undo it. Almost like trying to compromise is politically beneficial. Same for healthcare, same for farm subsidies, same for this.

Almost, anyway. People in those states are too brainwashed to care, they live in a different reality. Need a new paradigm to deal with 21st century politics.
