Correct. Also for those interested:

So they are also blocking Russia?

Or they are blocking a Russian vpn endpoint?

[–] woelkchen@lemmy.world 7 points 5 months ago (1 children)

I'm not in Russia and they're not blocking the Saudi Arabian VPN endpoint.

[–] jaybone@lemmy.world 3 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Sorry. I don’t understand what the screenshot is trying to show.

[–] woelkchen@lemmy.world 7 points 5 months ago (1 children)

That the same message is displayed when setting the VPN to Russia.

[–] jaybone@lemmy.world 4 points 5 months ago (1 children)

Oh, so like I said. A Russian vpn endpoint is being blocked.

Oh, so like I said. A Russian vpn endpoint is being blocked.

How do you come to the conclusion that only a VPN is blocked when the same VPN provider works fine when pointing the VPN to Saudi Arabia?

Most likely, TS is blocking all connections from Russia.

[–] Mohamed@lemmy.ca 7 points 5 months ago

Youre both saying the same thing!

"A russian VPN is blocked" is what you showed. From that, we can infer that probably all Russian ip's are blocked.

[–] JokeDeity@lemm.ee 3 points 5 months ago (1 children)

You're both so confident when it could be either and we don't yet have evidence which.

[–] Lifter@discuss.tchncs.de 1 points 5 months ago (1 children)

The only evidence we have is that the VPN endpoint was blocked, like one of the people are saying. Anything further than that would be speculation.

Weird echo in here.
