Defund foreign owned propaganda.
Given the current news revenue models I don't think it's possible for large scale outlets to be anything but paid adverts in guise of the news. The Conservative mantra of deregulation is also going to make things worse.
Ultimately someone will need to come up with something that pays people to deliver accurate news.
Like a publicly funded crown corp?
Well, since we're just giving the money away anyways, why not give it to a public company rather than to rich shareholders and senior executives.
