Am I dumb, or is that community completely empty?

It has posts.

I'm guessing that you're probably viewing the community on your home instance, lemmy.one.

Instance A don't normally get posts to a community on Instance B unless Instance A has at least one user on Instance A subscribed to the community on Instance B.

If that weren't the case and someone started an instance, they'd promptly get flooded by all the traffic on the Threadiverse; this was something of an issue with running a Usenet server.

I believe that once someone subscribes, then subsequent posts will come over; I don't believe that historical posts are sent. So you'll probably need to wait for posts to come in.

You can view the community anonymously on lemmy.ca to get an feel for the content in the meantime: https://lemmy.ca/c/linuxphones

EDIT: Yeah, no posts on your particular instance at the moment: https://lemmy.one/c/linuxphones@lemmy.ca
