Every comm I start tends to be active when I post in it. I see plenty of life in lemmy which is a great sign for the future. YPTB seems to be becoming a critical part of the overall meta discussion which feels like a uniquely lemmy phenomenon as I didn't remember anything like that in reddit.

+10,000 as to YPTB becoming a critical part of the infrastructure. It brings transparency and community consensus to the whole endeavor of moderation, which I think was exactly what was needed to bring it out of the reddit weirdness and into being a balanced endeavor.
