Sorry but Orthodox Christians don't really respect the Pope. It was the Pope that broke away from the church, and past Patriarchs have all stated that it is the Catholic church that will need to mend the rift for going against church doctrine, not the other way around.

Not that organized religion is good in any respect, but just trying to give the Orthodox perspective, and why they wouldn't actually care what the Pope says.
