I'm pretty sure Infinity (the app I use) makes around 0 bucks from me using it. There's no ads, nothing, the experience is great, and the dev(s?) do it for free. Reddit is trying to make up excuses for seizing control of the user experience, and that's just monopolising. Reddit's only service is as a big, searchable database.
"brigading site wide" that's a pretty interesting take to say the least. A lot of people disagree with reddit, and they're showing it with how little power they have. What are we supposed to do, hang there and accept cactuses up our asses ?
