It's been nearly two weeks since covid and I'm back to work tomorrow. I don't feel too bad until I try to do anything, then I get tired out really quickly. At this stage I'm not sure if it's because I am still unwell or just the result of having not done anything for ages. I also have a lingering cough, hopefully having to talk lots at work won't trigger that. My job is about 50% talking, so if I can't do that without coughing it will be an issue.
I also have lots of life admin slowly piling up, and have had to reschedule a few appointments. I did just finish a week with an activity tracker for the study I am taking part in - they will log a distinct lack of activity for me this week.
Covid absolutely racks the shit out of your stamina, and does so for a couple months. Be kind to yourself and work with lower limits or it'll bite you in the arse.
Sounds about right tbh. It took me ages to feel myself after COVID, even after I was pinging negative. Your energy will return in time, but take it slow until then and be kind to yourself!!
