Wouldnt more people using lemmy.world be worse for both users and lemmy.world admins?
There is no reason to use the most active instance
Yeah fair enough. I'm just thinking some people might not want the hassle of deciding between instances, they might just want the most popular one, because popular things are usually reliable.
But yes there are obviously good reasons to use different instances, like I am using a British instance so I can easily see stuff from various British communities. I think I only found out about my instance by lurking lemmy.world though.
