Do you think country music artists are mostly conservative?
I think they'll portray themselves as conservatives whether they are or aren't. Mainstream artists typically have corporate-crafted personas that they have to stick to in order to stay relevant for their target demographic.
I think you are right. I also think a lot of traits that country music stars portray are seen as conservative type traits.
Cowboy hat and boots, dirt road, cold beer and so forth.
Makes me think of Bo Burnham's wonderful Pandering song.
