From Twilight Zone to X files to Fringe. Random sci fi concepts in a story with overarching plot. Did streaming kill it?

star trek strange New worlds, love death and robots, star wars visions, scavengers reign, Star Trek the lower decks, wandavision at the start at least, what if, Guillermo del Toro's cabinet of curiosities, black mirror, electric dreams...

half of all sci-fi/fantasy anime, like space dandy, kekkai sensen, death parade, dr. Stone, mushishi, natsume yujin-cho, Pluto, psycho pass...

they're still out there, some better, some worse. some more overarching, some more straight anthology. I think we have more variety than ever in tv. you've just got to look for it. unless you want long seasons. they don't really do 20-50 episode seasons anymore, but most shows have more effort and budget per episode, so I'm cool with that.
