For some reason my wipes have failed… twice. 100% bytes erased, but blanking failed. Some of the errors suggest the disks are on their way out. NBD since they’re going to trash. Yet, while I have a million and one other things to do, I haven’t looked at a Linux distro for aeons… So, of course I’m going to look at Endeavour. This is a rabbit hole I need not be heading down today. LOL.

Damnit, I knew I should have grabbed that pack of Zoopers the other day…

There's always Mint, Ubuntu, and Debian if you want something simpler. I've found the biggest difference is the desktop environment as some have GUI elements for things where for others you'll have to jump in the terminal. Since endeavour is based on Arch it may take some setting up

Was pretty quick, which was nice. Install with USB without an issue. Had a bit of an issue with the second drive, trying to run shred, but installed testdisk and ran a check and for some reason shred is working now.

Except that I was a dumbass and mistyped the zeros overwrite. We’ll see how it pans out.
