And the problem is I would totally give Elon or Trump half my cookie, it doesn't matter that much to me and I try to avoid being petty.

The very optimistic would suggest that maybe giving a cookie would inspire them to think deeper about the imbalance and how they could do better as a human being to others.

But realistically, they're going to take your cookie and then try to sell you that their cookies are better and you should buy them.

The way I see it in such a scenario there's no chance of it making them worse and at least its a tiny moment of human connection which can only be a good thing no matter how incalculably small.
