Emoji inspiration: I call this part of the year (the time between Boxing Day and New Year's Day) the "never-never times" because some things are open, others are closed, some people are working, a lot not, so fuck all gets done, and if you need anything besides food or groceries, you're basically SOL

Happy International Day of Epidemic Preparedness!

My zucchinis are officially being dipshits.

I have like 13 male flowers in the fridge, the female flowers seem to have died before blossoming and the upcoming ones are still in infancy. One fruit I thought was fertilised rotted off. So between 4 plants there’s one healthy developing fruit which I hand pollinated myself.

The pumpkins can help pollinate them when they get bigger because they’re both cucurbits but I kind of don’t want to cross pollinate because there might be a higher chance of them turning bitter and toxic.

The tomatoes are bushing out and flowering but I’m wondering if it’s too early and a result of stress. I’ve planted everything so late.
