These are the noises I can hear inside tonight:

  • Somebody having some kind of outdoor race at the park a fair ways away
  • the neighbours tiny yap dog going off its fucking rocker
  • some drongo doing burnouts and looping the roundabout next to my house -the crickets (I'm pretty sure they're right under my floorboards, really loud)
  • a motorbike that's revving like mad at the end of the road and isn't stopping or even going anywhere

I have a cat rolling a ball from the front door to the back door. I'd get up but I cannot be stuffed.

After 20 years living in Australia, the motor noises are still annoying.

I'll never understand the need to unnecessarily burn petrol only to annoy people around you.

Go to an industrial estate and let it rip. Leave is suburbanites alone!!

I live next to an industrial estate and they do. :(

I live in pure suburbia and they don't go out far enough

I've been considering digging a few potholes in the local donut area, which is about six houses from mine.

I think you should. Happy to provide an alibi if needed

Motorbike revving noises send me, I’ve got a neighbour that owns multiple motorbikes. It’s just constant motorbike noises throughout the day- starting, revving, driving past. Sometimes very early. Shut it!

So long as it’s not the neighbours humping or having a domestic it could be worse.

Actually no the worst is an 18th with thumping bass.

I can assure you this has thumping bass

Too far away to hear people, even if they were yelling, somehow not far enough away to not hear "DNNZ-DNZZ-DNDNDNDNZZ" on repeat for an hour
