So glad this failed. I do wonder if Kroger will still be closing the ones they planned to. The QFC near me has a for lease sign in their parking lot. Hopefully that disappears because I hate shopping at the nearby Safeway. It feels like a Soviet store with bare shelves but also much higher prices than the QFC.

I check the apps before I shop and safeway often has some cheaper sales going on. Qfc always felt like a luxury to me, but maybe that was because of their marketing?

I feel like that is the case everywhere except the QFC in Mt Baker and the Safeway in Columbia City. The Safeway's prices are about 7-8% more.
