I could be wrong, but I don't believe Speaker McCarthy will offer much resistance to this request. What are your thoughts?

I don't see any reason for him to get in the way of this, mainly because it's bipartisan. He has to show that he's working with the Dems on some issues. I also don't see any donations to McCarthy that stand out as having potential sway over it. The topic of UAPs could be a joining force for Congress and the Senate. As long as public interest doesn't view it as a waste of time, this could be a win for him.

It is a hilarious waste of time. Of all the issues Congress could unite on it's the circus act that is this bullshit. We are a dumb country.

Regardless of your thought on UAP, there are claims of abuse of spending with the DOD. Do you honestly think we shouldn't investigate claims of government abuse of funding? This is more than just about UAP it's about groups in the government working without oversight.
