The democrats have all been Ned Stark in Kings Landing for a decade. Taking the high road doesn’t work against when the goal of the opposition is to slit your throat

Spoilers I guess. Ned was an honorable man summoned to rule at advisor to the king in the capital. He plays the game of politics with honor and get his head cut off for it.
"Did you really think this piece of paper would protect you?" Is a perfect example of the Republican response to the DNC.
It upsets me that in the time since I started making that analogy that show went from the hottest thing in the world to a case study in destroying an infinite money machine
