Ahh shit. I gotta take my son to sports practice this evening and already dreading the fuckwits on the road.
Just remind him that no one remembers who comes 2nd place. That's what my old man told me. Sage advice didn't work though.
You didn't come runner up. You lost.
He's good like that. The team and coaches are chilled out too. Play for fun and learn new skills. If you win, great. If you lose, life goes on.
