I don't think you're a dickhead, you're having a very common anxious reaction to someone telling you something you I haven't considered before and don't understand.

especially if it's a simple solution to a problem you've had for a long time, you don't want to believe it's true, or you want to avoid the obvious truth, because then you think you haven't been trying hard enough.

so right now, you're just having a knee-jerk nervous fit about "have I been doing everything wrong?"

Don't worry, you haven't.

instead of pretending travel doesn't exist or making other things up, just ask the questions you're curious about.

I love talking about travel, I'm patient and I have tons of experience.

there's no reason for you to lash out.
