I must admit that finding groups is difficult and I've had one that I didn't like too much but it fell apart anyway. Currently I'm down to one group and lots of scheduling issues :( My point is that I'd put up with quite a bit just to be able to play, even now.

I don't know your group, but I would assume party members don't do it out of malice (especially if they don't know about your private situation).

I know they don't do it out of malice. I even sent them the meme as well. They're (mostly) a good group, but it would be nice if they roleplayed in character more. I think a few of them are pretty new players though, which probably affects that.
