I remember watching a video about that. The thing is that gifted kids don't learn learning. It's all easy to them until it is not and at that point, all the others have learned techniques for memorizing and stuff but the gifted kid never sat at the homework for any reasonable length
I think that can be it for some but there is another type where you are able to jump through all the hoops and you enjoy jumping hoops and then suddenly people stop holding up hoops in front of you and you realize you never learned how to make hoops for yourself. Something like that.
Or you despise jumping through hoops but it takes way to long to learn that you can say no
Or you've been jumping through only one type of hoop for 20 years without realizing that your parents' trauma has you hooping in a circle.

And then you get to college and find one class that is actually hard and you have no idea what to so you just cry. (Definitely isnβt me rn)
