Thank you. I use the plastic little cup that measures my rice for the rice cooker.

My daughter says my camera is crap and I have to admit it is. The dish was more vibrant irl.

That's just poor lighting and insufficient depth of field. If you improved the lighting and used a narrower aperture it would look a lot better.
