Why has TikTok got to be the carcinisation of websites. YouTube is TikTok, Instagram is TikTok, fucking porn websites are TikTok. Soon you'll be looking up a solution to a video game puzzle and the website will be a 9:16 video of text-to-speech reading out 8 paragraphs of what should've be text.
But it will have a banging soundtrack
Don't forget the completely irrelevant gameplay from some mobile slop, or rocket league
Truly this is the worst timeline
My prediction is we will be so tired of all of these sites that we will end back at lots of static sites
My fear is people will get tired but will resign to it anyway.
I try to be optimistic about things even if itโs totally unrealistic because if I was realistic about the future Iโd not want to live in it anymore.
One of my favorite memes is an extension of what you're describing.
A Mario streamer simpleflips will throw up Subway Surfers in extra screen real estate. Just keep adding more junk as time goes on.
It's funny as a gimmick. It's sad that our actual reality does this though.
