The range of Republican voters’ views on Trump shows he continues to have a tight grip on the party, even among those weary of his rhetoric and legal woes.

And they're willing to embrace all manner of cruelty, irrationality and hypocrisy in order to win. That lady at the town hall said it best, for modern Republicans politics is about, "hurting the right people."
