Why are there random split peas in my car?

[โ€“] RustyRaven@aussie.zone 11 points 10 months ago (2 children)

Are you sure they are random and not targeted? Perhaps it is not just you being effected and it is the fist step towards world peas.

You've been visited by the Legume Fairy. Better than glitter, at least you won't be finding them for years to come.

TIL there is a Legume Fairy. Is there any way of warding them off? I'm very keen to keep legumes out of my life.

The Legume Fairy is vegan, so keeping an egg about your person or car should be sufficient to keep her away. Other animal products may work too.

I have an egg in my bag for lunch today. Does this mean if I eat it I will put myself at risk of being legumed?

Edit: Could I carry a fake egg instead? Is that the origin story for Faberge Eggs?

[โ€“] useless_modern_god@aussie.zone 7 points 10 months ago

Uh no. There wasnโ€™t a bag. Just like 4 or 5 individual split peas on the seat.

If you keep collecting them Iโ€™m sure youโ€™ll have enough for soup eventually

The long game, I like it.
