My partner tried showing me last night. I told her to turn it off because it was stupid and unfunny.
Probably could have phrased that better, relationship health wise.
For example, instead of saying something they like is stupid and unfunny, say "Your memes suck, be better or I'm leaving you."
You have to clearly establish the consequences and a path to fixing their problems.
