You might ask why is a newspaper from Myanmar covering news of ethnic-religious violence in Bangladesh? It is because there is on-going historic rivalry and animosity between Bengali people and Arakanese people. There are tibeto-burman tribes living in Bangladesh who have been subjected to several genocides over the years by Bangladeshi military and civilians. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persecution_of_Buddhists#Massacres
