The main criticism of shared bathrooms in Finland is untidiness. It's otherwise down to social awkwardness (which there is plenty of in Finland).

I'd love to know what our trans and genderfluid members from around the world think of this.

The points brought up all seem so inconsequential or easily remedied. Don't really view them as so unsolvable that you need to separate them again.
