Imagine letting an entire area flood because you refused to use existing stormwater inrastructure, lied about expert opinions and ignored rainfall warnings with the logic "you got forecasted rain, then you got actual rain." This guy should be facing prison time for these actions.
This is obvious corruption for developer interests in preserving the "lake". Our tax dollars paid for those gates to be built and our tax dollars will be used to repair many of the damages from the comelletely preventable flood. We cannot shrug this off and let other municipalities suffer a similar fate where they are sold out and destroyed for corporate interests.
